The Waldorf Astoria Residences in Jerusalem
Waldorf Jerusalem apartments offer five-star luxury. The Waldorf Astoria Residences in Jerusalem recently underwent an extensive restoration spearheaded by the world-renowned Feigin Architects. These 30 luxury apartments sit across from the equally extravagant Waldorf Astoria Hotel. The residences are also located adjacent to the Mamilla Mall’s entrance, leaving them a few minutes walk from the Old City.
The new construction has given the Residences a reputation for extravagance throughout the world, attracting a number of foreign investors. One notable investor is the Chairman of American Eagle Outfitters, Jay Schottenstein. He made headlines in 2012 after purchasing four apartments for himself and his children in the Waldorf Astoria Residences for 110 million NIS.
Most of the residences have been purchased; however, there are still a few apartments available for purchase. The apartments cost between $5-$8 million USD depending on the size and floor. Most of the purchased apartments are currently available for either short or long-term rentals. Tenants enjoy a number of amenities that come courtesy of the hotel.
The residences offer a 24-hour concierge and limousine service. Hungry tenants don’t have to travel far as the complex includes three fine dining restaurants. Tenants who want to exercise can enjoy the fitness center and swimming pool. From there, tenants can move on to the spa for relaxing treatments.
Anyone who needs to work can take advantage of the business center that also offers secretarial services. Covered walkways and separate elevators for the residences provide the privacy that often accompanies luxury properties. Those who want to feel further pampered can also utilize the laundry, dry cleaning and valet parking services. All of the amenities total $1,800 USD in maintenance fees per month for those looking for five-star luxury in the holy city.
